Letterpress Work
Letterpress printing is both a craft and a personal passion, requiring patience, precision, and persistent troubleshooting while still allowing space for play and experimentation. I have printed wedding invitations and a range of stationery pieces and posters on a Chandler & Price platen press and a Vandercook No. 4 flatbed cylinder press. The following pieces, produced during graduate school and post-grad workshops, reflect my interest in typography, the tactile qualities of print, and the
hands-on modes of making that inform how I generate ideas and approach form, composition, and problem-solving as a designer.
